Research Work
Ph.D. Research Work :Sustainability assessment of the Built environment .
The research aims at investigating the potential of using computational models for sustainability assessment in the built environment. The study aims at exploring the dynamic aspects of sustainability in the built environment by focusing on the interrelationship between the dimensions of sustainability. It further extends to access the level of sustainability to enable decision-makers to evaluate between alternatives and implement suitable policies for the projects for improving the relative sustainability of projects.
M-Tech Project :-Potential of ‘lean’ construction concepts in promoting greener construction
This project attempted to derive the impact of lean construction in promoting green or sustainable construction on Indian construction sites. The study compared the extent of productivity enhancement and emission reduction across a spectrum of construction activities using the lean tool of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for the mapping of these processes.
B-Tech Project :-Design of water supply system for Cochin International Airport
The project aimed at optimizing the design of a water supply system for an airport. The study contributed in evaluating the proposed design of the water supply system for Cochin International Airport and proposing an optimum design for the same.
